What manga chapter does Nabari No Ou start to differ from the anime?

I heard that the manga is diffrent from the anime.

The anime and manga are pretty much the same until the incident at the academy. After that, they begin to diverge. The "new material" begins in chapter 39 (volume 8, I believe).
